Recom Farmhouse takes your privacy seriously. Here, we’ll set out what data we may collect and where. We’ll also cover why we might need to keep and use your data, and where to contact us to find out more.
Newsletter:
When you sign up, we collect your email via a secure form to send you a monthly newsletter of our latest work. If you like, you can provide your name, company and country too, in order to further personalise the newsletter. You can view or change your details, or unsubscribe at any time, either by the links included in every email, or by emailing privacy@recomfarmhouse.com. We never sell your data, and it is kept secure. Our newsletter is sent via Mailchimp which is compliant with all EU data protection regulations.
Website
The Recom Farmhouse website does not store any personally identifying information. We do use Google Analytics but guidance is that GDPR consent is not required as the information is neither personally identifiable nor shared with any third parties. You can see, manage and delete information that Google holds about you personally on your Google Dashboard.
Blog
Like many other websites, the blog (madlove.net) uses cookies. These are small pieces of information sent by an organisation to your computer and stored on your hard drive to allow that website to recognise you when you visit. They collect statistical data about your browsing actions and patterns and do not identify you as an individual. For example, we use cookies to track your screen size and device. This enables us to optimise performance for you. And third party sites (eg Vimeo) also track the usage of media on the blog.

For the purposes of working with you, we will only use your personal information to administer your account and to provide the services you have requested from us. We will keep this information secure. We may need to share your information with other organisations as part of the services we provide –
Some information may be publicly shared with your permission, for example credits on an image.
We’ll hold on to your information for as long as is needed to be able to provide the services to you.
If reasonably necessary, or required to meet legal or regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, or enforce our terms and conditions, we may also keep hold of some of your information as required, even it is no longer needed to provide the services to you.
General Data Security
All our data is kept securely, protected by strong and securely held passwords with two-factor authentication wherever possible.
Some organisations which provide services to us may transfer personal data outside the EEA for processing purposes, but we’ll only allow them to do so if your data is adequately protected (for example, if they are certified under the EU/US Privacy Shield scheme, or if we have a prescribed contract in place with them).
